1. traverse- travel across or through.
ex.- Thousands of cars traverse the golden gate bridge everyday.
2. ferment- incite or stir up (trouble or disorder)
ex.- Little kids ferment situations in order to get attention.
3. span- the full extent of something from end to end; the amount of space that something covers.
ex.- Kids span play doh just for the curiosity of how much it could stretch.
4. convey- transport or carry to a place.
ex.- Military convey use it for stealth missions.
5. ambiance- the character and atmosphere of a place.
ex.- Mood is sometimes mistaken for ambiance.
6. encompass- surround and have or hold within.
ex.- The case of a glue stick encompasses the glue with special chemicals.
7. exploiting- make full use of and derive benefit from (a resource).
ex.- Indians exploited the Buffalo when killed.
8. abutment- a structure built to support the lateral pressure of an arch or span, e.g., at the ends of a bridge.
ex.- Strong tension wire are use as abutment support for most bridges.
9. automation testing- the use of special software to control the execution of tests and the comparison of actual outcomes to predicted outcomes
ex.- A good example of automation testing is a using calculation with a calculator.
10. precision- marked by or adapted for accuracy and exactness
ex.- I was precised in choosing the right door.
11. accuracy- the quality or state of being correct or precise.
ex.- I was accurate in getting all ten balls in the basket in a row.
12. ream- a large quantity of something, typically paper or writing on paper
ex.- Essay testing encourages you to ream your writing to your best of your ability.
13. vacuum- a space entirely devoid of matter.
ex.- Vacuum help test many experiments without outside interference.
14. pneumatic system- A system in which gas pressure differences and their rates of change are related to gas flows, their integrals and their rates of change.
ex.- Pneumatic systems are use in car brakes and acceleration pedals.
15. propulsion- the action of driving or pushing forward.
ex.- Propulsion causes work to be done which then gives off power.
16. Force- strength or energy as an attribute of physical action or movement.
ex.- The force needed to lift a feather is less than the force needed to lift a rock.
17. velocity- the speed of something in a given direction
ex.- Negative velocity can tell you if a certain person is going backwards or forwards.
18. speed- the rate at which someone or something is able to move or operate.
ex.- roads have certain speed that on must follow.
19. vestige- a trace of something that is disappearing or no longer exists.
ex.- Some types of rays have been vestige in black holes.
20. retrofit- add (a component or accessory) to something that did not have it when manufactured
ex.- Cars are retrofited to make the driver more comfortable.
