1. Expository-serving to expound or explain.
ex. Persuasive essays tend  to use expository in their writing.
2. Composition-act or result of combining parts to form a whole.
ex. Engineers use composition in order to make their project perfect.
3. Assuage-to lessen (pain, grief, etc.).
ex. Counselors assuage students when their going through a rough time.
4. Decadence-moral deterioration.
ex. Today's youth are in a decadence.

5. Hackneyed-Lacking significance through having been overused(of a phrase or idea).
ex. In a debate, hackneying an idea makes the team look weak.
6. Coalition-alliance.
ex. Germany, Italy, and Japan were in a coalition called the Axis Powers.
7.Transcend-to go beyond the ordinary limits of.
ex. To transcend your goals makes you feel amazing.
8. Meritorious-deserving praise, reward, esteem, etc.; praiseworthy.
ex. Getting a perfect score on anything deserves meritorious.
9. Lurid-sensational; shocking.
ex. Facing your phobia can be lurid.
10. Petulant-showing impatient irritation.
ex. I get very petulant when shopping with my mom and sister.
